Rise Up: Federal Workers Legal Defense Network

Hundreds of thousands of federal workers have had their basic rights violated on the job—including tens of thousands who have been fired illegally. Federal workers have an urgent need for legal support. Several groups have now come together to launch the Rise Up: Federal Workers Legal Defense Network, which was launched this week. The L&EC, via our Solidarity Subcommittee, have been integral to this effort since the beginning. Several dozen L&EC members have already been trained as volunteer lawyers.
